Nightlife superstars Paris Gotti and Amanda Lepore with David LaChapelle and artist Luca Pizzaroni at the Brasserie
Hundreds of friends and fans turned out for David LaChapelle’s opening at New York’s Lever House last Thursday to get a preview of his spectacular From Darkness To Light installation in the ground floor space of the classic modernist building. Lever House owner Aby Rosen and art collector Alberto Mugrabi held court while nightlife superstars Amanda Lepore and Paris Gotti mixed with hip-hop legends Fab 5 Freddy and old school graffiti artist Lee Quinones, who were in turn rubbing elbows with style icon Daphne Guinness and emerging artists Tristan Reginato and Jordie Turner. The party continued with a sit-down dinner for close friends and supporters that filled the Brasserie in the Seagram Building, another one of Rosen’s prime architectural properties, before heading downtown and turning wild at the Top of the Standard, aka the Boom Boom Room.
